
Messaging Terms of Use

By providing your mobile number and opting in, you consent to receive one-time or recurring text messages (SMS/MMS) from TZ Medical Monitoring Solutions, LLC related to your healthcare monitoring program. Text Messaging will only be available for US-based patients and Providers. Your consent to receive text messages is voluntary and is not a condition of receiving any products or services.
Types of Messages
For Patients
- Mid-Study Requests - Such as prompts to change out electrodes or requests to contact TZ’s Customer Support Team for assistance in restoring device connectivity.
- End of Study Reminders - alert that the study is ending soon, prompts to turn the device on to complete data upload, and instructions to return the device to TZ Medical.
For Providers
- Notification of Completed Reports - Alerts that Finalized Reports are ready for review.
- Notification of Urgent Findings - Alerts regarding clinical episodes meeting your notification preferences.
Message Frequency and Cost
Message frequency may vary based on the nature of the program and your participation, with an average of 2-3 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. Please contact your wireless provider for details about your data or text plan.
Opting Out (STOP)
You can opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying “STOP.” After we receive your ‘STOP’ request, we will send one final confirmation text message to confirm your decision. Once confirmed, you will no longer receive text messages unless you choose to opt in again. If you receive multiple types of text messages from different programs, we may send a clarification text to confirm whether you wish to stop all messages or only certain types.
Getting Help (HELP)
For any help regarding health related issues contact your doctor or if it’s an emergency, dial ‘911’. If you need assistance with your service, reply “HELP” at any time, or contact our Customer Support Team at 800-338-1109. We may provide additional instructions or direct you to further resources.
No Guarantee of Delivery
We do not guarantee that text messages will be delivered. Delivery may be impacted by factors beyond our control, such as network outages, carrier issues, and environmental factors. We and your wireless provider are not liable for delays, message failures, or any damages arising from the use of text messaging.
Privacy & Security
Text messages may include Protected Health Information (PHI). Text messaging is not encrypted, which means PHI could be intercepted by unauthorized parties, including individuals who may access your device. By opting in, you acknowledge and accept this risk. It is your responsibility to provide and maintain a current, accurate mobile number. Please protect your device with a password or other security measures. The use and disclosure of PHI in these messages may also be governed by other applicable privacy notices, including HIPAA Notices of Privacy Practices.
